Raasay House is a 20-bedroom family hotel and outdoor activity centre. Both the accommodation and the activity centre at Raasay House are rated 4 Stars by VisitScotland.

Raasay House is only a short walk from the ferry and enjoys fabulous views over to the Cuillin mountains on Skye.

Raasay Distillery started producing spirit in 2017, based around the historic Borodale House overlooking the Sound of Raasay.

As well as offering guided tours which end with a whisky tasting, this is perhaps the only place in Scotland providing luxury accommodation within the same building as a working distillery.

Three of the six ensuite bedrooms are blessed with stunning views of the Cuillin mountains on the Isle of Skye, while the others overlook the distillery’s production yard.

Allt Arais provides luxury bed and breakfast accommodation and is centrally located on the island, just outside the main village of Inverarish.

Allt Arais is easily accessible from the ferry terminal, is on the doorstep of local amenities and offers easy access to walking routes, tourist attractions, Raasay House with its bar and restaurant and the Isle of Raasay Distillery.

Located just outside the main village of Inverarish, this seven-bedroom house, which sleeps up to 15, is only a five-minute drive from the ferry. This large traditional farmhouse, sitting in eight acres of grounds, is ideal for large groups wanting to explore all the island has to offer.

An-Airidh is a detached bungalow which offers quality accommodation in beautiful surroundings.

An excellent base from which to enjoy this beautiful, unspoilt island with its stunning scenery, varied wildlife and it’s depth of history.          

Inverarish Cottage is one of a small terrace of traditional dwellings which once housed prisoners of war sent here during the First World War. This centrally located cottage (just a few doors down from the island’s shop and post office) sleeps three in two bedrooms and has a modern shower room and smart fully appointed kitchen/diner.

Taigh Thormoid Dhuibh or “Black Norman’s House” is located at the north end of the Island.  Maintained by MBA volunteers, it is unlocked and available for anyone to use at all times of the year. An open fire is the only amenity (no fuel is available locally) and Lochan gun Ghrunnd is often the only water supply.
